This team helps congregants in need get assistance for rent, medical care, job training, etc.
These volunteers work on Sundays and during classes or special events showing slides, operating the sound system, recording and uploading videos to YouTube and Facebook. Training is provided.
These friends handle the sales of bookstore items on Sundays, taking cash, checks and electronic payments with “Square” and help keep bookstore items organized. Square training is provided.
This team handles insurance matters, government documents and requirements, etc.
Caring Calls & Cards Ministry
This team sends cards, emails or calls congregants who have not been attending lately, to inquire about their well-being, letting them know we are thinking of them.
Container Plants Care Ministry
watering, fertilizing and nurturing our potted plants inside and outside.
A Coordinator is needed for every event we have! Event Coordinators invite volunteers to participate; help plan the event, promote the event, coordinate volunteers, etc. A list of Ongoing and Annual Events are listed below.

Our Outreach Ministry is on a temporary reorganizing hiatus.
This team helps set up for water, tea, coffee and food for fellowship on Sundays and for special events. They make sure things are cleaned up and put away afterwards. Some team members help keep the supplies orderly and stocked.
This team contributes much needed help with cleaning, small repairs and improvements on the building and grounds.
Our volunteer music team, the Sounds of Light, welcomes musicians and singers to join our team in delivering the musical offering during Sunday services and at special events. If you’re interested in participating with the Sounds of Light, contact the office or talk to Marion Gwizdala, our musical director, on Sunday.
These friends arrive before services and events to turn on lights, AC, make coffee, check restroom supplies, or other similar tasks as needed.
Prayer Chaplains receive extensive training; they pray with congregants after Sunday service and make monthly Wellness Calls, hospital visits (when covid permits), and they help lead special services.
These friends update the website, social media and Meetup.com listings, write press releases, etc.
Unity Friends Ministry
This team helps congregants in times of serious challenges by cooking and delivering food, giving rides to appointments, running errands, providing child care, pet care, etc.
Ushers greet congregants, give out bulletins, welcome packets and guest flowers, direct congregants to seating, count attendance, etc. This is a great way to make an important contribution to our worship service.
This team meets newcomers, and helps integrate them into the spiritual community by introducing them to other congregants and letting them know about our activities.
Those who are gifted as poised speakers can serve as Worship Leaders for Sunday Service, presenting the Order of Service and announcements.
Teachers and assistants use Unity materials we provide to create activities for our youth. We need two adults with each of the Youth Ministry classes. Youth Ministry volunteers receive a 10% Bookstore discount.
