What happens at a service?
Sunday service is inspiring and positive and provides you with practical tools to live a spiritually centered life. The Sunday message will help you deal with the real-life issues you face during the week. (You can hear an audio recording of a Sunday Message here on our website.) Our service also includes a devotional reading and a guided meditation. You’ll experience a variety of music styles, mostly contemporary, both upbeat and contemplative. After the service, Unity Prayer Chaplains are available to pray with you privately and confidentially. Our intention is to provide the opportunity for an experience of the Divine Presence. Come and feel the joy of Spirit!

What do I wear?
Unity North Tampa is a welcoming community with a casual environment. Most of us will be dressed casually. Some people like to dress in their Sunday best. We welcome any style that makes you feel comfortable.
What denomination are you?
Unity is trans-denominational. We honor all major world religions and welcome people of all faiths. Our beliefs are based on the teachings of Jesus, a multifaceted understanding of the Bible and the age-old principles of the New Thought movement. To those seeking authentic spiritual growth, Unity offers a positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity. We are not traditional Christianity.
Unity is without creed or dogma and has no formal liturgy. We believe the answer to every challenge lies within the heart and the higher mind of each individual. Our emphasis is not on the demands of a personality, institution or religion… it is on the spiritual transformation of each individual.
We strive for our ministries, publications and programs to reach out to all who seek Unity support and spiritual growth. It is imperative that our ministries and outreach be free of discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, age, creed, religion, national origin, ethnicity, physical disability or sexual orientation. The goal of Unity Worldwide Ministries is to ensure that all Unity organizations are nondiscriminatory and support diversity.
I have children; do you have activities for them during your service?
We have a wonderful youth-education program that you can learn more about here. Currently we have children ranging in age from infants to preteens attending Unity North Tampa, and we would love to have your child or children join us for our fun, meaningful Children’s Ministry!
